Bringing Peace to Your Life (Week 5 of Celebrating Life)

Regardless of occupation, belief system or physical condition our mind is a powerful tool to transform our lives. We welcome you to an evening discussing the benefits of meditation and how they will improve our health, our mental states, our productivity and the living of our life in general. Transform your walk to work, walking the dog, doing the shopping into a positive and beneficial experience!

Our Environmental Health! (Week 6)

This evening we will look at our inner environment through a short guided meditation session and talk followed by a short film considering the effects we have on our outer environment, the world we live in!

Your guides for these 6 evenings are Spiritual and project Director of Rokpa Dundee, Ven Gelong Karma Jiga and Ani Lamdrön, a Buddhist nun, and scientist.

Imagine You're Enlightened!


The Tantric or Vajrayana practices of Buddhism encourage you to develop the use of your imagination to become a more positive and altruistic person. In this single evening session we'll look at the very brief form of such a practice. These practices are designed to reduce the amount & effects of our thinking promoting a positive attitude towards our life and others, through chanting and imagining that you are already enlightened in a pure place!

Participants will be guided through the session with the aid of a spoken commentary and multimedia animation, making this unique course suitable for beginners, those with no knowledge whatsoever and those with some experience. We'll focus on the short Chenrezig Sadhana, the practice to help develop loving Kindness and compassion.

Led by karma Chödrak, who has an MA in the Visual Arts

So…. what's meditation about then? (6 weeks)


During this short course we’ll dispel and highlight some of the common misunderstandings and outline just what meditation is through simple guided practices that should help reduce the anxiety and tension encountered as you go about your daily business. This course will incorporate techniques to help you relax physically and mentally that you can use wherever you are, whatever you are doing. Anyone can attend and guidance will be given during the sessions making this course suitable for beginners and those who have attended previously.

Chenrezig Prayers & Meditation


A session dedicated to the welfare of others. Reciting prayers, mantra and meditation for the sick, terminally ill and deceased, Chenrezig puja in the Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions, imagining your enlightenment!

Anyone can attend.
